This concentrated three-day workshop is geared toward the advanced beader who is proficient in peyote stitch, has an interest in designing three-dimensional shapes, and wants to advance their technical ability. Objet d’art means art object in French, but for the bead artist it can mean anything created, from a small structural artwork to display or a piece of wearable jewelry.
Design: Nancy will guide you as you design and create a piece to match your unique vision and technical expertise.
Develop: Learn fundamental, tangible techniques in sculpting and shaping to transform your design vision into a creative expression of objet d’art.
Execute: Nancy will help you remain mindful of your creative flow, stay flexible, and overcome self-doubt to bring a personal design of objet d’art into being.
